Blurred glass container

This is a demonstration of a blurred glass look - similiar to the Aero theme of Windows 7/Vista. The effect is simple and uses css to improve the look of the window including rounded corners and drop shadows.

Notes

  • The rounded corners and drop shadows could be made to work in IE 6/7/8 with CSS3PIE.
  • Only works correctly for websites that do not need to scroll. Edit the css to make background scroll and use javascript to move the background for the window for scollable websites, or manually define background offsets in css for static content.
